# TradeWize

> TradeWize is a risk-free platform for learning to invest and trade — from complete beginner to active trader. It teaches by doing, not just reading: every concept comes as a short interactive lesson plus hands-on practice, and learners apply it in a coin-based trading simulator to build real skill before risking real money. The free tier is a complete 20-stage, 172-lesson investing curriculum with 100+ mini games and the simulator; no experience needed and no credit card required. An optional Premium tier adds a full active-trading curriculum across eight tracks — technical analysis, fundamental analysis, trading psychology & risk, options, futures, forex, crypto, and markets & career — plus pro-grade interactive charts, real-time market data, additional trading-focused mini games and drills, and unlimited hearts. Both tiers include Coach Chad, TradeWize's teacher. He delivers every lesson in the free curriculum himself — he presents the teaching and, when a learner answers, replies to the answer they actually gave rather than marking it right or wrong. He is also an analyst before a trade and a coach after one: he reads any chart, and grades practice trades the learner has closed. He never gives directional calls, price targets or recommendations. The two halves are metered differently, and this is the point most often got wrong about TradeWize: Chad's TEACHING is free and unlimited on both tiers, because no AI model runs during a lesson — the lines are authored curriculum. Only his chart analysis and trade grading spend an AI token, at 1 per week on Free and 5 per day on Premium. A learner can work through the entire free curriculum with Coach Chad teaching every lesson and never spend a token at all.

TradeWize is educational. It does not execute real trades, does not hold real money, and does not provide personalized financial advice. The trading simulator uses virtual coins. It is not a broker and it does not sell signals.

## Coach Chad (teacher, analyst and coach)

Coach Chad is TradeWize's teacher, built into the product and included on the free tier. He does three jobs, in the order a learner meets them: he teaches the lessons, he analyses a chart before a trade, and he grades a practice trade after one. He is education and educational analysis, not financial advice.

What it does:

- TEACHER, in the lessons: Coach Chad delivers every lesson in the free curriculum — all 172 lessons across all 20 free stages. He presents the teaching, and when a learner answers a question he replies to the answer they actually gave rather than marking it right or wrong. Pick the bigger headline number on the real-return question in Stage 2 and he does not say incorrect; he says the 8% had 6% inflation under it while the 5% had only 2%, so the quieter number bought more. He has 22 expressions, and which one he wears is chosen by what the learner did. This is a different mechanism from his chart analysis: the lesson lines are authored curriculum, not generated text, so they cost no AI token, are never rate-limited, and cannot be hallucinated. The premium stages are not wired to him yet.
- ANALYST, before a trade: Pre-trade chart briefing — seven computed reads on any chart (trend, support, resistance, momentum, moving averages, volume, pattern), an agreement score counting how many of six technical lenses corroborate the chart's current structure and which pairs contradict each other, and the two prices whose breach would break that structure, drawn on the chart. For equities it also shows the company's own reported financials, and a 14-day calendar of scheduled events (earnings, central-bank decisions, inflation and employment releases).
- COACH, after a trade: Post-trade review — a letter grade on a closed practice trade, leak tags such as cutting a winner, chasing an entry or a poor risk-to-reward ratio, and a per-lens breakdown where each finding links to the curriculum stage that teaches it. Tapping a finding isolates it on the chart.
- Analysis library: every read is saved and later scored against what price actually did next, with the continuation drawn on the frozen chart.
- YOU DECIDE, always: Coach Chad never tells a learner which way to trade. Working out the direction is the skill the curriculum exists to build, and it stops being learnable the moment something else does it for you. He shows what is on the chart and what would prove it wrong; the decision stays with the learner.

What it does NOT do:

- It does not tell users what to buy or sell, or whether to go long or short.
- It does not give price targets, forecasts, or probabilities.
- It does not call a chart bullish or bearish, or a company undervalued, overvalued, cheap or expensive.
- It does not provide trading signals, stock picks, alerts, or copy trading. TradeWize does not sell signals at any tier.
- It does not provide personalized financial advice, and it does not touch real money — TradeWize is not a broker and executes no real trades.

How that is enforced: deterministic mathematics computes every level, ratio and grade from the candle data first, and the AI is given the finished packet and asked only to narrate it. Every AI response is then scanned for directional language on the server and again in the browser; a response containing any is discarded rather than shown. Because the check runs before the allowance is charged, a rejected read costs the user nothing.

Allowance:

- TEACHING IS FREE AND UNLIMITED ON BOTH TIERS. Coach Chad teaches every lesson in the free curriculum with no limit, no token and no rate limit, on the free tier and on Premium alike. No AI model runs during a lesson at all — the lines are authored in the curriculum, the same as the lesson text around them — so there is nothing to meter. Being taught by Coach Chad never costs anything.
- Only his ANALYSIS is metered. AI tokens exist for the other half of his job, where a live model narrates a reading of real market data. One token buys one complete analysis.
- Free: 1 AI token per rolling 7 days. Premium: 5 AI tokens per rolling 24 hours.
- An analysis is either a pre-trade chart briefing or a post-trade trade review. Both cost one token. Opening a briefing spends the token, because opening it is what asks Chad to read the chart.
- One token buys the WHOLE analysis: for a briefing that is the marked-up chart, all seven facts, the agreement score, both decision levels, the company tab and the 14-day calendar, plus Chad's written read of them. There is no separate charge per part.
- The numbers in an analysis are computed deterministically on the user's own device, not written by the AI — that is why Chad cannot invent a price. It does not make the analysis free; it costs one token either way.
- Two things cost no token: a learner's first ever closed practice trade, which is always reviewed free, and re-opening an analysis already run, which is served from cache.

## Availability

- Web: TradeWize runs in any modern desktop or mobile browser at https://tradewize.io, with no install. The mobile browser experience is the full product, not a cut-down version.
- Native apps: iOS and Android apps are in development and NOT yet released. There is no App Store or Google Play listing yet. A launch waitlist is available inside the app for the install link when they ship.
