Stage 60 · Premium
Futures

The Clock

A futures session runs twenty-three hours, and the clock makes levels no stock chart has. This stage teaches you to trade the session as structure. You'll draw the cash open, the overnight range, yesterday's settle and the roll gap, then trade off the line you drew. Eleven lessons, and the last one is the open, traded.

Stage 60 of the TradeWize futures track: the futures session as structure. The cash open, the overnight range, the settlement print, yesterday's settle as a level, the calendar, roll week on the tape, and the Sunday reopen.

  • The futures session runs from 17:00 to 16:00 Chicago time with a one-hour halt, and I know which part I am in.
  • The cash open is the loudest minute of the day, and I have a plan for it before 9:30.
  • The settlement is the close that matters, and it is the candle I read.
  • Yesterday's settle is the first line I draw.
  • I read the chart in session time, and my levels come from the settle, the overnight and the open.
