Advanced Technical Analysis

One chart is never the whole story. You'll read a stock's daily and hourly together, draw on one and trade on the other, and start an average from the day that matters. Then one stock against the index, how many stocks join a move, which gaps hold, three other ways to draw the same candles, and when the crowd's gone too far. Eleven lessons, and the last one reads a stock you've never seen.

Stage 71 of the TradeWize advanced track: you'll read one chart against three timeframes, an anchored VWAP, a ratio and market breadth, then find the gaps that matter and the crowd at an extreme.

  • The higher timeframe sets the direction, and the lower one only times the entry.
  • A VWAP from the right anchor is the average price of everyone who bought since the event.
  • An index at a high with fewer stocks above their 200-day is a top with a thin crowd.
  • A gap made by a displacement candle is a level, and its midpoint is my entry.
  • A gap out of a base is a breakaway and does not fill soon, and a gap after a long run is exhaustion.
