Refund Policy

This page explains how refunds work for TradeWize Premium subscriptions. It applies alongside our Terms & Conditions.
1. The 14-day refund window
You can request a full refund of your initial Premium subscription purchase within 14 days of the original transaction. No questions asked, no fee.
The 14 days are counted from the date of the original charge shown on your Stripe receipt.
2. EU right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital service contract within 14 days of subscribing, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).
Our 14-day refund window is at least as generous as this statutory right and applies to all customers, regardless of where they live. Nothing in this policy limits or replaces statutory consumer rights you may have under your local law.
3. Renewals after the first billing period
Renewal charges (the second monthly payment, or any annual renewal after the first year) are not eligible for the 14-day refund window.
To avoid an upcoming renewal, cancel your subscription before the renewal date through the Stripe Customer Portal, which is linked from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep access to Premium features until then.
If you cancel during the 14-day window after the initial purchase, you will be refunded the initial charge in full and Premium access ends immediately.
4. How to request a refund
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Refund request” and include:
- The email address on your TradeWize account.
- The approximate date of the charge (or the Stripe receipt, if you have it).
- Optional: a short reason. Helpful for us, not required for the refund.
You can also use the EU model withdrawal form if you prefer; any clear written statement asking for a refund within 14 days is enough.
5. What happens after we receive your request
- We confirm the request by email, usually within one business day.
- We issue the refund through Stripe to the payment method you used for the original purchase.
- Stripe typically credits the refund within 5–10 business days. The exact timing depends on your bank or card issuer.
- Your Premium access ends at the time the refund is issued; your account, progress, and Foundations access stay intact.
6. VAT and currency
VAT or equivalent indirect tax that was applied at purchase is included in the refund. Refunds are issued in the same currency as the original charge.
