Coach Chad, the TradeWize AI trading coach

Free AI chart analysis,
read out by Coach Chad

He names what's on the chart — trend, support, resistance, momentum, moving averages, volume and pattern — and refuses to tell you what to do about it. Working that out is the actual skill.

Hey. Send me a chart and I'll tell you what's on it — screenshot from any platform, or just give me the ticker.

Crop to the chart if your broker panel is in frame.

Your screenshot isn't kept. It's used once to work out which chart you sent, then deleted. No account, no email. What we do with it
Then I come back with your chart marked up, seven facts, a score for how well they agree — and the two prices that would change the picture.
FAQ

Questions people ask.

Is the chart analysis really free, and do I need an account?

Yes, and no. You get one free chart read every seven days without an account, without a card, and without giving us an email address. Upload a screenshot or type a ticker and Coach Chad reads it. Because there is no account, the free scan is counted against a one-way hash of your IP address rather than a profile. An account gets you more reads and, more usefully, keeps them: a read made without one is gone as soon as you close the tab.

What does Coach Chad actually read off my chart?

Seven facts, all computed from real candle data rather than from the picture you sent. Trend, meaning whether price is making higher highs and higher lows or the reverse. Resistance, the swing highs sitting above the current price. Support, the swing lows below it. Momentum, as RSI and the MACD histogram. Moving averages, the 9, 20 and 50 EMAs and the order they are stacked in. Volume, the last bar measured against the chart's own average. And pattern, the classical chart pattern if a detector confirmed one. You also get an agreement score, which counts how many of six technical lenses corroborate the structure, and the two prices whose breach would invalidate it.

Will Coach Chad tell me what to buy or sell?

No, and the refusal is structural rather than a matter of tone. Coach Chad never gives a direction, a call, a price target or a forecast. Two mechanisms enforce it. Deterministic maths computes every level and ratio from the candle data first, and the AI is handed that finished packet and asked only to narrate it, so it has no mechanism for inventing a figure of its own. Every AI response is then scanned for directional language — buy, sell, long, short, bullish, bearish, target, should — and a response containing any of it is discarded rather than shown to you. What to do about the chart is left to you on purpose, because that judgement is the thing worth building and the thing that stops being learnable the moment something else does it for you.

What happens to the screenshot I upload?

It is sent to Google's Gemini vision model to work out which chart it is — the ticker symbol and the timeframe written on the chart's labels, and nothing else. The model is never asked what the price is doing. Once the chart is identified the image is discarded and never stored, and every number you then see is computed from live candle data rather than read off your picture. The one exception is a failure: if we cannot read your image at all, we keep it for seven days so we can find out why and fix it, after which it is deleted automatically. Please crop to the chart, and do not send screenshots showing your account number, your balance or your open positions — the tool does not need them.

Which markets and timeframes does it work on?

Stocks, ETFs, crypto and forex, on five timeframes: 5 minute, 1 hour, 4 hour, daily and weekly. If you upload a screenshot, Coach Chad reads the timeframe off the chart's own labels. If you type a ticker instead, you choose it. Symbols follow the usual conventions — AAPL for a US stock, BTC-USD for crypto, EURUSD for a currency pair. The analysis itself is identical whichever market you point it at, because it is all computed from candles, and candles are candles whatever is printing them.

What if it reads the wrong ticker off my screenshot?

You correct it, and the correction is free. The ticker and timeframe Coach Chad extracted are shown at the top of your read, and changing either re-runs the analysis against the right symbol without spending a second scan. That matters because an anonymous visitor gets one free read a week: if a correction cost another scan, a single misread ticker would leave you with nothing. If the ticker could not be read at all, that attempt is not counted against you either, and you can simply type the symbol in instead.

Is this financial advice?

No. TradeWize is an educational platform and Coach Chad is an educational analysis tool. Nothing on this page is financial advice, a recommendation, a solicitation or a forecast, and none of it is personalised to your circumstances, because we know nothing about your circumstances. TradeWize is not a broker: it holds no client money and executes no real trades. A chart read describes what is on a chart. Deciding what that means for you, if anything, is your own decision, and if you want guidance that accounts for your situation you should speak to a financial adviser regulated in your own country.

Am I talking to a real person?

No. Coach Chad is an AI character rather than a human being, and the conversation on this page is a user interface rather than a chat with somebody. The analysis is generated: deterministic maths computes the seven facts, the agreement score and the decision levels from candle data, and a language model writes those findings up in Chad's voice. There is nobody reading your chart at the other end, and nothing you send reaches a person. Coach Chad also answers exactly once per chart — he cannot take follow-up questions, and the thread ends when the read arrives.
