Once you create a free TradeWize account, your stage progress, earned coins and simulator portfolio are saved to that account and sync across devices, so a stage started on a laptop continues on a phone and a position opened on one device is there on the other. Nothing lives only in one browser. That is the main reason to sign up rather than browsing anonymously: without an account there is nowhere to keep the progress.
